HOT & COLD THERAPY
 

Heat therapy helps to improve blood supply and relax the muscles, thus improving flexibility. Cold therapy helps to reduce swelling and relieve pain. Cold therapy is recommended in acute pain which is pain which has occurred within a period of one month to three months. If the pain has been present for more than three months it is known as a chronic pain. heat therapy is recommended for chronic pain. some cold therapy options are cool packs, cold water bath, cold compressions. For heat therapy use hot packs or heat belts for dry heat therapy for 30 mins twice a day.
